Trio expands!!

Ola Kvernberg Trio teamed up with drummer/percussionist extraordinaire Børge Fjordheim (Cloroform, Morten Abel, Kaada Orchestra..) for a first time exclusive quartet-happening at Nattjazz, Bergen, last friday. The audience, among them two reviewers, was thrilled about the new sound! At certain points it felt almost like being on stage with the comprehensive Bitches Brew rythm section! Will definetely try to make this happen again..

EDIT: Listen to 6 live tracks from Nattjazz HERE!

To og en iPod

Ola Kvernberg will be featured in the program "To og en iPod", a series of portraits of renowned Norwegian musicians. The show will be broadcasted on NRK1 on June 8, 2009. For the impatient ones, or simply the non-Norwegians feeling it'll be over the top to buy flight tickets for Noway in June to see a TV-show, it is already available for streaming online, youtube-style, as well as a podcast.

By the way - its in Norwegian.. and some swearing does occur.
