Steamdome is the commission-gone-working band assembled and composed by jazz-violinist, composer and multi-instrumentalist Ola Kvernberg. The beat-driven, 7-piece concept is the result of a myriad of impulses, ranging from classical music and movie scores to folk and world music. It was performed live on a select few occations in 2016 before it's recording in Ocean Sound Studios the year after. On April 23, sequel "Steamdome II: The Hypogean" was released on all digital platforms, CD and vinyl.
